Sony again top in ‘Best brands’ poll

For the seventh year in a row, Sony is again top of the list, followed by Dell and Coca Cola. Apple is now in the top 10 list, and Microsoft has dropped out of the list.
The question asked in the poll was: “We would like you to think about brands or names of products and services you know. Considering everything, which three brands do you consider the best?”

Apple growth set to skyrocket?

Apple Matters quotes surveys saying that 16% of the people about to buy a new computer will be buying Apple, up from 6% in May. Dell’s market share is declining. It looks like Apple’s home PC market is about to triple! This follows on from the “halo-effect” from iPod, plus consumers’ dissatisfaction with PC security.

iTunes sold more online than Borders and Tower Records

In the US, sales on the iTunes Music Store continue to increase, so that it is now seventh on the sales charts.
