Another place uses Barry Manilow music to fight crime

In July last year I reported reading that a local council is playing Barry Manilow music to keep away hoodlums. Now, I read that a Colorado judge is setting a sentence of listening to Barry Manilow music for one hour for noise-pollution offenders. He said that after listening to loud rap, an hour of Barry Manilow music is "horrible punishment".

The singing of Barry Manilow and Doris Day is being used by Rockdale Council, in Sydney’s south, to keep rev-head hoons from loitering in car parks. Other shopping centres or car parks have successfully played Bing Crosby or classical music to reduce loitering.
