A macaw, previously owned by a trucker, now owned by an animal sanctuary, has been moved away from public areas because of its propensity for swearing!

Police nab man in motorized wheelchair on autobahn

Police in Germany intercepted an 80-year old man traveling along an autobahn on his motorized wheelchair. Apparently he wanted to go shopping!

FedEx Furniture

Jose Avila in Seattle recently moved into an apartment, but had no furniture, so started to build his furniture (bed, desk, chair, etc.) using FedEx boxes. He chronicled, that on his site (http://fedexfurniture.com/), but FedEx apparently don’t see the humor in the situation, citing “trademark infringements”. The Stanford Law Center has stepped in to defend Mr. Avila.
Jose said he simply wanted to spread the word that “it’s OK to be ghetto.”
“That’s pretty much the motto of the site,” he said. “When you’re stuck in a bind and you’re feeling down, it’s not the end of the world.”
